So Spring is here, the weather has been beautiful lately & I finally have time to start blogging again. This month is all about tattoo inspiration, Nicki Minaj & days in the sun.

Oookay so, not to brag or anything, but I have literally completed my January to-do list.

Send UCAS off by the 14th - DONE

Have 4 driving lessons - 2 done, 2 next week

Have eyetest/sort glasses - DONE (I'm now a four eyed monster)

Apply for 8 jobs - Not needed as I have a new job

Theory book - To buy on payday

Book holiday - DONE

Blog more - DOING

Feeling very positive about 2012.

Treated myself to a little session at MAC today, will post about that at a later date.

golden wonder bath ballistic

Now I don't have a picture of what the bath bomb looked like before my bath, as tbh, I thought it was gonna be pretty boring. I was wrong. It was amazing!

The 'Golden Wonder Bath Ballistic' is a gold and silver Christmas present (quite large) so I just assumed that my bath would go bubbly and yellowish.

All I got on the label was that is was: 'An innovative, wonderfully golden, 'naked' gift with a celebratory citrus fragrance.'

And this is what happened to my bath...

I put the bomb in, and straight away, it burst and fizzed a bright green, followed by blue and a tiny bit of purple. I sat and watched it in amazing. I was not expecting this! Now the picture is crap, but I wasn't planning on blogging about it.

Also, from the middle came some shiny stars, which I assumed would be tiny plastic stars that would stick to my skin, but no, they melted into a beautiful silver, which made my skin feel immense.

Unfortunately they only do this bomb at Christmas, so now, knowing what I know, if it's back in next year I will be investing in several!



four eyes.

So I went for my eye test, I'm not as blind as I thought I was, but I do need glasses.

I hate them, lol. My boyfriend and everyone else says they suit me, but I'm just not used to having to wear them yet. I only need them for when I'm driving (which I can't drive yet) and watching TV, depending how far I'm sitting away from the screen. Buuut eventually I'll end up becoming reliant on them, so I haven't really worn them much yet.

So, it's the 9th January and I've already done one of my goals for the month! Pretty proud of myself.

Oh and also, I think I have a job! Working with my beautiful friend Kerry in H&T Pawnbrokers. It's only for 10 hours week, but plus overtime. And I can also keep Debenhams as well.

AND. MY HOLIDAY IS BOOKED.

10 days in Playas de las Americas in Tenerife. Me and the boy have already planned scuba diving and boat trips. So excited!

So technically, I've done 3 of the things I wanted to do this month. Book a holiday, get my glasses & get a job!

2012

This year is all about me. Selfish as it may seem, it's what I need to concentrate on. 2011 was quite possibly the best year yet, but it wasn't amazing. I met some beautiful people, I fell in love but I also made some stupid mistakes. I have let people treat me appaulingly and walk all over me, not anymore. I think it's about time I started living for me, not the rest of the world. I am who I am, I'm proud of where I've been and what I've become, and if people don't like it, well, they know where to go.

Instead of writing New Year resolutions, as there would be hundereds, I'm going to write monthly to-do lists.

January

• Send off my UCAS before the 14th
• Have 4 driving lessons
• Eyetest/get my glasses sorted
• Apply for at least 8 jobs
• Buy a theory book/CD
• Book holiday
• BLOG MORE

2012 is mine for the taking. Watch this space.

I couldn't get any good pictures of this, but it is my favourite nail polish of all time and I can guarentee it's going to be on my toes, a lot.

Sneakily got my new tattoo in there as well. Pocketwatch and roses. Hurt like a motherf*cker, but I'm in love with it!
